The Falling Starr Academy of Professional Wrestling

The Falling Starr Academy of Professional Wrestling was set up in 2010 by 10 year wrestling pro, Jimmy Starr. Keen to share his knowledge and skills with the next generation of budding wrestling talent, Jimmy arranged weekly training sessions teaching pupils basic wrestling techniques and mat work. As the popularity of the school began to grow, Jimmy organized weekend long in-ring training sessions where the pupils learned more advanced techniques and ring work. With many pupils showing great promise the training academy began to run small shows where the up and coming wrestling stars could showcase their new skills and gain valuable match experience in front of small crowds. Three years on many of the original trainees are part of the main Falling Starr Wrestling roster and can be seen all over Britain competing for various other wrestling promotions.

At the Falling Starr Wrestling academy we often have guest trainers to give student the opportunity to learn from the best. Previous guest trainers have included TNA star Magnus, WWE legend Mickie James, Top UK star Marty Scurll, Europe’s biggest heavyweight BULK plus many more.

Students travel to our training school from across the country and we also have strong relationships with major Wrestling promotions across the UK. Our aim is to get our students onto the pro wrestling scene across the world.

We run wrestling training sessions every Wednesday evening at the LynnSport sports centre in King’s Lynn. For those sessions Jimmy Starr, takes pupils through mat based skills and old school British tech.

On Sundays we host in-ring training sessions at The Kings Lynn Academy where pupils are taught all aspects of professional wrestling.

Wednesdays: 7pm to 9pm,  Lynnsport, Kings Lynn, Norfolk, PE30 2NB (£10 per session)
